प्रधानमंत्री अगले सप्ताह वाराणसी में रिंग रोड और बाबतपुर हवाई अड्डा सड़क का उद्घाटन करेंगे
प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी सोमवार, 12 नवंबर, 2018
को वाराणसी में 1571.95 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से निर्मित 34 किलोमीटर लम्बे
दो महत्वपूर्ण राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग राष्ट्र को समर्पित करेंगे। उत्तर
प्रदेश के राज्यपाल श्री राम नाईक, केंद्रीय सड़क परिवहन और राजमार्ग,
शिपिंग, जल संसाधन, नदी
विकास और गंगा संरक्षण मंत्री श्री नितिन गडकरी और उत्तर प्रदेश के
मुख्यमंत्री श्री योगी आदित्यनाथ भी इस समारोह में उपस्थित रहेंगे। यह
समारोह दोपहर में रिंग रोड तिराहा, हरदुआ, वाराणसी उत्तर प्रदेश में आयोजित किया जाएगा।
16.55
किलोमीटर लंबी वाराणसी रिंग रोड का पहला चरण 759.36 करोड़ रुपये की लागत
से पूरा हो चुका है और राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग 56 पर 812.59 करोड़ रुपये की
लागत से 17.25 किलोमीटर लम्बी बाबतपुर-वाराणसी सड़क को चार लेन चौड़ा करने
और उसके निर्माण का कार्य भी पूरा हो गया है। इन सड़कों का निर्माण
भारतमाला कार्यक्रम के तहत भारतीय राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग प्राधिकरण (एनएचएआई)
ने किया है।
बाबतपुर हवाई अड्डा राजमार्ग वाराणसी को हवाई अड्डे से जोड़ेगा और जौनपुर, सुल्तानपुर
और लखनऊ तक जाएगा। इस राजमार्ग पर हरदुआ में एक फ्लाईओवर और तर्ना में
आरओबी के निर्माण से वाराणसी से हवाई अड्डे तक की यात्रा में लगने वाले समय
में कमी आयेगी। इससे वाराणसी के लोगों, पर्यटकों और अन्य आगंतुकों को बड़ी
राहत मिलेगी।
रिंग रोड पर दो आरओबी और एक फ्लाईओवर के निर्माण से राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग 56 (लखनऊ - वाराणसी), राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग 233 (आज़मगढ़ - वाराणसी), राष्ट्रीय
राजमार्ग 29 (गोरखपुर - वाराणसी) और अयोध्या - वाराणसी राजमार्गों के
यातायात को वाराणसी शहर बाईपास करने के लिए एक रास्ता उपलब्ध होगा। इससे
शहर में यातायात भीड़ भी कम हो जाएगी और यातायात समय, ईंधन
उपयोग और प्रदूषण में भी कमी आएगी। यह रिंग रोड बौद्ध तीर्थयात्रा के
प्रमुख स्थल सारनाथ तक जाने के लिए अधिक आसान और सुविधाजनक रास्ता उपलब्ध
कराएगी। इन परियोजनाओं से रोजगार के अधिक अवसर उपलब्ध होंगे। लघु और मध्यम
उद्योगों के विकास से इस क्षेत्र में आर्थिक प्रगति को बढ़ावा मिलेगा।
वाराणसी
को पूर्वी उत्तर प्रदेश के अन्य स्थानों से जोड़ने के लिए 63,885 करोड़
रुपये की लागत से कुल 2833 किलोमीटर लम्बी राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग परियोजनाएं
निर्माणाधीन हैं। इनमें से 1143 किलोमीटर की लंबी पंद्रह सड़क परियोजनाएं
निर्माण के विभिन्न चरणों में हैं। इनमें वाराणसी-जौनपुर, वाराणसी - सुल्तानपुर, सुल्तानपुर-लखनऊ, वाराणसी घाघरा ब्रिज, वाराणसी-आज़मगढ़ शामिल हैं। इन पर 3,0227 करोड़ रुपये खर्च होने की संभावना है। इसके अलावा, 8,265
करोड़ रुपये की लागत वाली 235 किलोमीटर लंबी सात लक्षित परियोजनाएं भी
हैं। 25,323 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से 1455 किलोमीटर लंबी सड़कों के निर्माण
के लिए 20 परियोजनाएं डीपीआर चरण में हैं। इस प्रकार वाराणसी क्षेत्र में 63,885 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से 2833 किलोमीटर सड़कें निर्माणाधीन हैं।
एक
अन्य आयोजन में प्रधानमंत्री उसी दिन वाराणसी में गंगा नदी पर अंतर्देशीय
जलमार्ग टर्मिनल भी देश को समर्पित करेंगे। भारतीय अंतर्देशीय जलमार्ग
प्राधिकरण की विश्व बैंक से सहायता प्राप्त जल मार्ग विकास परियोजना के
हिस्से के रूप में एनडब्ल्यू -1 (नदी गंगा) पर निर्मित होने वाले चार
बहु-मॉडल टर्मिनलों में यह पहला टर्मिनल है। अन्य तीन टर्मिनल साहिबगंज, हल्दिया
और गाजीपुर में निर्माणाधीन हैं। इस परियोजना से गंगा नदी पर 1500-2,000
डीडब्ल्यूटी की क्षमता वाले जहाजों को वाणिज्यिक नेविगेशन की क्षमता उपलब्ध
होगी। प्रधानमंत्री अंतर्देशीय जलमार्ग जहाज पर भेजे जाने वाले देश के
पहले कंटेनर माल (स्वतंत्रता के बाद) को भी प्राप्त करेंगे। इस कंटेनर में
खाद्य और पेय कंपनी पेप्सिको का माल लदा है, जो अक्टूबर के आखिरी सप्ताह
में कोलकाता से चला है।

29 अक्टूबर से 03 नवम्बर तक सतर्कता जागरूकता सप्ताह मनाया जाएगा इस वर्ष का विषय है ‘भ्रष्टचार मिटाओ-नया भारत बनाओ’
केन्द्रीय
सतर्कता आयोग (सीबीसी) प्रत्येक वर्ष सरदार बल्लभ भाई पटेल के जन्मदिन
(31 अक्टूबर) वाले सप्ताह में सतर्कता जागरूकता सप्ताह मनाता है। इस
वर्ष 29 अक्टूबर से 03 नवम्बर तक सतर्कता जागरूकता सप्ताह मनाया जाएगा।
इस वर्ष का विषय है ‘भ्रष्टचार मिटाओ-नया भारत बनाओ।’
केन्द्रीय
सतर्कता आयोग सतर्कता जागरूकता सप्ताह में भ्रष्टाचार के विरूद्ध लड़ाई
में सामूहिक रूप से भाग लेने के लिए हितधारकों को प्रेरित करता है। सतर्कता
जागरूकता सप्ताह का उद्देश्य भ्रष्टाचार से होने वाले नुकसान के बारे
में जन जागरूकता पैदा करना है।
आयोग
ने सभी केन्द्रीय मंत्रालयों/संगठनों को अपने संगठन के अंदर और बाहर
लोगों/नागरिकों के लिए निम्नलिखित गतिविधियां चलाने का अनुरोध किया है।
i. संगठन के अंदर चलाई जाने वाली गतिविधियों में सभी कर्मचारियों द्वारा ईमानदारी की शपथ लेना, ऐहतियाती सतर्कता गतिविधियों पर पर्चें बांटना, कार्यशाला
आयोजित करना और संगठन की नीतियों/प्रक्रियाओं पर कर्मचारियों तथा अन्य
हितधारकों को संवेदी बनाने का कार्यक्रम आयोजित करना शामिल हैं। अन्य
गतिविधियों में सतर्कता विषयों पर पत्रिकाओं का प्रकाशन, कर्मचारियों तथा उनके परिवारों के लिए भ्रष्टाचार विरोधी विषयों पर वाद-विवाद, क्विज प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन किये जा सकते हैं।
ii. लोगों/नागरिकों के लिए प्रमुख स्थानों/कार्यालय स्थानों/फील्ड इकाइयों में बैनर, पोस्टर
प्रदर्शन किये जा सकते है और पर्चे बांटे जा सकते हैं।
नागरिकों/उपभोक्ताओं के लिए शिकायत समाधान शिविर का आयोजन किया जा सकता है
और लोगों को ऑनलाइन रूप से ईमानदारी की शपथ दिलायी जा सकती है।
iii. स्कूल तथा कॉलेजों के विद्यार्थियों के बीच भ्रष्टाचार के दुष्प्रभावों के प्रति जागरूकता पैदा करने पर बल देने, प्रत्येक
फील्ड इकाई/सीपीएसई की प्रत्येक शाखा द्वारा स्कूलों और कॉलेजों में
विद्यार्थियों तक पहुंचने के प्रयास किये जा सकते है। इस संबंध में
व्याख्यान, परिसंवाद, वाद-विवाद, लेखन, आदर्श वाक्य, कार्टून, पोस्टर लगाने तथा नैतिक मूल्यों और सुशासन के व्यवहारों पर पूरे देश में आयोजन किये जा सकते हैं। 2017 में 15,000 से अधिक स्कूलों और 3200 से अधिक कॉलेजों में इस तरह की गतिविधियां आयोजित की गई, जिसमें 14.70 लाख बच्चें शामिल हुये थे।
स्कूलों और कॉलेजों में विद्यार्थियों में नैतिक मूल्यों की भावना विकसित करने के लिए ‘इंटेग्रिटी क्लब’ की स्थापना नई विशेषता है।
ग्राम पंचायतों (ग्रामीण और अर्द्धशहरी क्षेत्रों) में जागरूकता फैलाने के लिए ‘जागरूकता ग्राम सभा’ आयोजित
की जाती है ताकि भ्रष्टचार के दुष्प्रभावों के बारे में ग्रामीण
नागरिकों को संवेदी बनाया जा सकें। 2017 में सतर्कता जागरूकता सप्ताह के
दौरान 67,131 ग्राम सभाओं का आयोजन किया गया।
सतर्कता जागरूकता सप्ताह के दौरान अनेक संगठन सोशल मीडिया मंचों, बड़ी संख्या में एसएमएस, ई-मेल, वॉट्सअप का उपयोग करेंगे।

Maryam Nawaz Sharif, who ran her mother's campaign, thanked the supporters for the victory and hailed their efforts which led to her win.
"A big 'thank you' to each and every PML-N supporter on social media. You guys did an unbelievable job. I am so so proud of you!", she tweeted following the victory.
Addressing party workers following the PML-N's victory in the polls, Maryam said, "All the powers which had surrounded Nawaz Sharif were defeated today."
Soon after the results were out, party workers were seen celebrating in the constituency and at the party's headquarters in Model Town.
The by-election were being seen as a major test for the ruling PML-N after Nawaz Sharif's disqualification as the prime minister.

नई दिल्ली: रेलवे के तत्काल कोटा के तहत टिकट करने वालों के लिए यह अच्छी खबर है. अब यूजर पहले बुककर उसका भुगतान बाद में कर सकेंगे. यह सेवा जो अब तक केवल सामान्य टिकटों की बुकिंग के लिए उपलब्ध थी. अब तत्काल बुकिंग के लिए गेम चेंजर होगी क्योंकि इसकी मदद से अब उपयोगकर्ता केवल दो क्लिक के साथ टिकट बुक कर सकते हैं. इसके तहत आईआरसीटीसी के उपयोगकर्ता अपने घर पर टिकट की डिलवरी का विकल्प चुनकर नकद या डेबिट अथवा क्रेडिट कार्ड के द्वारा भुगतान कर सकेंगे. आईआरसीटीसी के लिए 'पे-ऑन डिलेवरी' भुगतान प्रदाता एण्डुरिल टेक्नोलाजिस प्राइवेट लिमिटेड ने बुधवार को यह घोषणा की. इतना ही नहीं अब तत्काल टिकट सेकेंडों में बुक होगा.

Ordering a turmoil
Pakistan repeats history of not letting governments or prime ministers complete their term. This time around it was done through invoking the People’s Representation Act, 1976 that punishes for non-disclosure of assets and doesn’t allow a prime minister to hold an office of profit while he is the head of government. In Nawaz Sharif’s case, he had a work permit of a company registered in the UAE.
However, the story doesn’t end here. The five-judge bench of the Supreme Court have also sent all cases against Sharif’s corruption to the country’s primary anti-corruption body, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) where investigations will be conducted against Sharif and his entire family including his daughter and political heir, Maryam Nawaz and Sharif’s finance minister, Ishaq Dar, who also happens to be the father-in-law of Sharif’s other daughter. The NAB has been instructed to conduct an inquiry through a Joint Investigation Team (JIT). It is possible that the new JIT will also have the same composition as the earlier one which means officials from NAB, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), ISI and MI.
Not that it is easy to absolve Sharif from his sin of amassing unaccounted for wealth. However, his departure is likely to be a great setback in terms of even marginal chances of peace and stability in the South Asian region. There is very little likelihood of an interim government being in full control of foreign policy or taking any peace initiative vis-à-vis its neighbours or certain other critical powers like the US. While many believe that Sharif put his eggs in the wrong basket by hoping that China would protect him since he made great achievement in pushing for the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), the fact is that Sharif was immaterial to developments vis-à-vis Beijing. Pakistan is now back to its traditional policy framework. The only question that remains is when will a next government get elected and if Imran Khan gets a chance to be in office.
